Our High Definition Office
Enter our state-of-the-art office and you will be met with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our office is designed to make you feel welcome and at ease. A relaxing waterfall greets you as you enter the spacious reception area and one of our team members will be pleased to assist you.
We strive to make the treatment areas comfortable and efficient by having computers in every operatory to aid in patient education and to streamline your visit. Every operatory also has a large window to let in natural light and allows you to view the beautiful exterior landscaping. Virtual sunglasses and headphones are available to each patient along with a wide selection of DVDs for your viewing pleasure during your treatment.
Digital x-rays allow you to view your x-ray images within seconds on the computer monitor. This is helpful for diagnosis as well as treatment planning. Digital x-rays also greatly reduce radiation exposure.
Intra-oral cameras are another high tech tool that we have available in every operatory. Intra-oral cameras are used chair side to magnify treatment areas on the computer monitor. These images allow you to see in more detail what we see and better understand our diagnosis. This truly is an example of when a picture is worth a thousand words.
CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) is a computerized software and milling unit that allows the dentist to design and build a crown or tooth colored filling in a single visit, thus eliminating a return visit, wearing a temporary crown, and possibly a second injection.
Our sterilization area provides an easy and convenient flow through the entire sterilization process. Great attention is paid to infection control and every effort is made to ensure cleanliness.
Our office was designated a “green business,” the only dental office in the area to have this designation, by Sustainable Sandhills in May 2009. As a green business we promote recycling and reduce waste disposal, practice conservative water and energy use, and purchase products that are reusable and less harmful to the environment. We are very proud of this designation and will continue our efforts to become even more efficient and environmentally friendly.
